George W., Olene Cagle observe birthdays with joint celebration
A double 80th birthday celebration is planned for George W. and Olene L. Cagle from 2 to 4 p.m. April 17 in the fellowship hall of Broadway Baptist Church. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
No gifts are requested.
Mr. Cagle was born April 29, 1930, in Maryville, to the late Hobert and Minnie Cagle. Mrs. Cagle was born March 18, 1930, in Sevierville, to the late Curt and Dessie Large.
Their family includes children George and Susie Cagle, of Alabama, Curtis and Betsy Cagle, Billy and Julie Cagle, and Debbie and David Payne, all of Maryville. They have eight grandchildren, Jessie, Tyler, George W., Crystal, Elizabeth and Matthew Cagle and T.C. and Tayler Payne.
Mr. Cagle is retired from the United States Army and Maryville Tractor. Mrs. Cagle is a housewife and mother.
The couple attend Broadway Baptist Church and Senior Adults. Mr. Cagle is a member of Smoky Mountain Knife Club. Mrs. Cagle is a member of the Blount County Genealogical and Historical Society and enjoys family genealogy.
