She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Okra Holt; and brother, Truman Holt. She is survived by her husband, John Proffitt of Cosby; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Gail and Randall Sutton of Cosby, Leann and Daniel Warpool of Knoxville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Evalee Holt of Bybee, Bobby and Kathleen Holt of Point Pleasant; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Elbert Lewis of Bybee; sister-in-law, Marie Holt of Newport; grandchildren, Jonathan Proffitt, Gaylen Sutton both of Cosby; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, September 22, 2007 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Clay Sutton officiating. Burial will follow in the Proffitt Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm, Friday, September 21, 2007 at Manes Funeral Home. Manes Funeral Home in charge.
