CAYLOR, JAMES R. "RED" - age 71 of Maryville died Friday January 5, 2001 at home. He was a member at Memorial Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from the City of Alcoa. Preceded in death by wife, Mary Lee Caylor; parents, Dee & Nancy Patty Caylor.
Survivors include; sons, Eddie Buchanan and Steven Buchanan both of Townsend; daughters and sons in law, Marilyn & John Keenan of Maryville and Sherri & James Andrews of Knoxville; 10 grandchildren; brother, Edward Caylor of Knoxville; sisters, Estella Caylor, Allie Hannah, Lillie Webb all of Townsend and Nellie Lail of Alcoa; special cousin and best friend, Hazel Drinnen of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 2 p.m. Sunday January 7, 2001 at Grandview Cemetery with Dr. Wayne Stockdale, Rev. John Estes, Rev. Fate Green officiating. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2001, Smith Mortuary, Maryville. 983-1000, www.smithmortuary.com .
