CRUMLEY, HOWARD - age 79, of Knoxville, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, January 28, 1999. He was a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church and the Adult Men's Bible Class. He was a retired self-employed plumber. Preceded in death by: father, W. Landon Crumley; mother, Ollie Still Crumley; and brother, Ray Crumley. He attended the Neighbors Club at John T. O'Conner Center.
Survived by: wife of almost 60 years, S. Ellen Reagan Crumley; daughter, Patricia A. Crumley; daughter and son-in-law, Bettye C. and Gary Hunley; grandsons, Robert J. Crumley, Jr. and wife, Robin of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., Howard Lee Crumley and wife, Tammy of North Little Rock, Ark.; great-grandchildren, Kendra and R.J. Crumley; brothers, William of Knoxville, Lester of Mt. Joy, Pa., Paul and James of Harrisonburg, Va. Funeral service 8 p.m., Saturday at Mynatt's Chapel, Rev. Bill Winters and Rev. David McGill officiating. Family and friends will meet in Sherwood Memorial Gardens at 2 p.m., Sunday for an interment service. Pallbearers: Gary Hunley, Robert Crumley, Jr., Lee Crumley, Lynn Shular, Wayne Fine and Daniel Reagan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ridgeview Baptist Church Choir Fund, 6125 Lacey Road, Knoxville, TN 37912. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Saturday at Mynatt's.
