Julian D. Shultz age 75 of Cosby died Thursday, February 14, 2008 at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville. Funeral arrangements to be announced later by Brown Funeral Home 338 East Main Street, Newport TN 37821, 423-623-3041.

Julian D. Schultz, 75 of Cosby, died Thursday, February 14, 2008, at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was employed with Stokely Van Camp of Newport, for 27 years and was with the City of Gatlinburg Trolley Department for 10 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Issac and Minnie Schultz, brother, Clyde Schultz, brothers-in-law, Paul McCalister and Paul Lott.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Doris Schultz; brothers and sisters-in-law, Boyd and Ima Schultz of Seymour, Everett and June Schultz, of Buford, S.C.; sisters, Erma McCalister of Newport, Naomi Lott of Jackson, Tenn.; sister-in-law, Eunabe Williams; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Evelyn and Delmer Lovingood, Betty and John McCarter, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He will be remembered by many as a loving member of his community.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday evening, February 17, 2008, in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Alta Raper and Rev. Melvin Carr officiating.
Interment will be at 11 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2008, in Smoky Mountain Memorial Gardens in Pigeon Forge
