Went home to be with the Lord on December 4, 2007 at Sevier County Nursing Home in Sevierville. Grace was a member of First United Methodist Church of Sevierville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Smelcer; parents Edd and Bertha Roberts. Survivors include sister-in-law, Ruth Watts; brother-in-law, Hugh Smelcer; special friend, Alieen Kerr; many cousins and a host of friends. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2007 at Robert’s Cemetery with Rev. Bob Ely and Rev. Charles C. Harrison officiating. Friends may call at their convenience Thursday December 6, 2007 8:30 – 5:00 p.m. and Friday December 7, 2007 from 8:30 -12:00 noon at Rawlings Funeral Home in Sevierville. The family would like to say a special thank you to Sevier County Nursing Home for the care they have given Grace.
