She was preceded in death by her parents, Newt and Dessie Howard; son, Lynn Proffitt; sister, Rue Styles; brothers, Turner Howard and Sam Howard Her survivors include: Sons: Michael Proffitt, Marty Proffitt and wife Judy Daughter: Janice Lindsey and husband Don Daughter-in-law: Betty Proffitt Grandchildren: Letisha Hall and husband Tony, Trevor Proffitt and wife Samantha, Chelsea Proffitt, Kayla Proffitt Great grandchildren: Lindsey Hall, Emily Hall and Maggie Mae Proffitt Many special nieces and nephews Special friends: Brenda Williams, Brenda Eyler The family will receive friends 3-5 PM Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
