Mary Elizabeth Parrott, 80, of Knoxville went home to be with the ones that she had loved and were waiting for her in Heaven. Mary began her journey at Sevier County Health Care Center surrounded by the ones who loved her.
During her life, Mary was a member of the Valley View Baptist Church in Knoxville. She and her husband, Albert had owned and operated gas stations and a wrecker service in Knoxville for 30 years until retirement.
Her husband, Albert Hale Parrott; parents, Hoovie Pet and Hettie Alice Huskey; brother-in-law Bluford Trentham; nephew, Dwight, H. Trentham and great nephew, Matthew Ryan Trentham, preceded Mary in death.
Mary leaves behind to mourn her passing her sister, Hazel S. Trentham; niece, Charlotte A. McCarter and husband Ronald; great niece, Crystal Williams and husband Frankie; great-great nieces and nephew, Brianna, Courtney, and Nicholas Dwight Clabo, all of Sevierville.
Service will be 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2003 at Rawlings Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dewey Cooper and Rev. Clyde Lakin officiating. Interment will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 1 at Mattox Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday June 30 at Rawlings Funeral Home.
