January 30, 1941 - January 5, 2018 Franklin Delano Runyan, age 76 of Sevierville, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born at the Broady Hospital in Sevierville, graduated Sevier County High School in ’59, served in the US Army and retired from ALCOA after 30+ years. He was a loving and great husband, father, grandfather, friend, and above all, carried a great testimony of Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia, parents Mr. and Mrs. Walter & Virgie Runyan, sisters Agnes Hance, Joy Dimarzo. He is survived by his son: Darin Runyan and wife Christie; grandchildren: Austin, Brock, Colton, and Dillon; son: Brant Runyan and wife Jessica; grandchildren: Samuel, Sawyer, Ruby Kate, and Silas; Brothers: James Runyan and Harold Runyan and sister Marlene Dockery; Best Friend: Ray Douglas. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the BBN Bible Broadcasting Network, www.bbn1.bbnradio.org, 800-888-7077, or BBN PO Box 7300, Charlotte, NC 28241 where he was both a strong believer in the ministry and long long time supporter.
