MRS. BALES, a winter resident of Dona Vista from Gatlinburg, Tenn., died Sunday. Born in Gatlinburg, she was owner of the Bales Motel in Sevierville, Tenn. She was a member of Laurel Groves Primitive Baptist Church in Tennessee. Survivors: husband, Homer D., Gatlinburg; son, Rubin, Dona Vista, Russell, Gatlinburg; daughter, Edith Webb, Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; brothers, Clifford Ogle, Virginia, Walter, Gatlinburg, Barny, Dona Vista, Luther, Gatlinburg; sister, Stella Dodgen, Sevierville, Tenn.; stepsisters, Trula Dockery, Buelah Chambers, both of Sevierville, Tenn.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Beyers Funeral Home, Umatilla.
