A former employee of Johnson Chemical Co. Preceded in death by: parents, Effie McDaniel Covington and Ambrose B. Covington; brothers, Clyde Covington, Kenneth Covington, Howard Covington and Calvin Ray Covington; sisters, Estalee Covington, Joyce Covington and Edith Cheatham. Survived by: his wife of 43 years, Gerry Evans Covington; children, Robert Covington, Jr., Rhoda Covington and Paul Baker, Roy Covington and wife, Penny, James (Ricky) Covington and wife, DeAnn, Jerry Covington and wife, Ashley, Angel Covington and Robbie Covington; former wife, Lucille Reagan Covington of Gatlinburg; their children, Judy Covington of Lenoir City and Brian Covington of Gatlinburg; grandchildren, Chelsea and Brianna Baker, Roy Covington Jr., Dustin and Sam Covington, Tyler and Chase Covington, Crystal Covington, Summer, Star, D.
