God has called another angel home, Verol E. Reagan, age 84 of Pigeon Forge, passed away Tuesday, May 09, 2017. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother and has gone to sing with the angels. Verol enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her flowers. She spent many hours working in the tourist industry to help visitors be comfortable when coming to our area.
She is preceded in death by: daughter-in-law, Darlene Reagan; sister, Ina Townsend; sisters-in-law, Deanna Buchanan and Fran Reagan; brothers, Frank and Kintner Metcalf; and brother-in-law, Haskell Franklin.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, James (Jimmy) Reagan; daughters, Judy Reagan and Pamela McCarter and husband Louis; son, David Reagan; grandchildren, Amanda Kirkpatrick and husband Collin, Angie Ingle and husband Brent, Marc Reagan and wife Mylea, Julia Reagan, Megan McCarter, Austin McCarter and wife Brianna; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Winfred Metcalf and wife Agnes; sister, Doris Franklin; and brothers-in-law, Von Reagan, Joe Buchanan.
The family will receive friends from 4-6PM Thursday with funeral service to follow at 6PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Kitts officiating and music and speaker Ray Ball. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Friday at Mt. Zion Cemetery for interment.
