Preceded in death by husband, Jack Conley Whaley ; and daughter, Lois Whaley Petree. Survivors: sons, C.H. Whaley of Galveston, Ind., Lee Whaley of Dayton, Ohio, Charles Whaley of Huntsville, Ala.; daughters, Peggy Whitt of North Augusta, SC. Patsy Rucker and Becky Acuff, both of Knoxville; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brother, Cleo Trevena of Pigeon Forge; sister, Flora Bohannan of Knoxville. Funeral service 8 p.m. Wednesday at Stevens Mortuary Chapel Rev. Jack Wilkerson officiating. Family and friends will meet at entrance to Greenwood Cemetery at 11:45 a.m. Thursday for a 12 noon graveside service and interment. Pallbearers: grandsons. Family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Ave. at Broadway.
