  [S142] Newspaper Article, 19 Sep 2004. Louise Whaley Dellinger Hise, 78, of Crossnore, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, in a Linville hospital. A native of Sevier County, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Rene Whaley. She was a member of Pisgah Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Hansel Dellinger; her second husband, Clarence Hise; and a son, Robert Dellinger. Surviving are one daughter-in-law, Alice Dellinger of Crossnore; two sisters, Ruby Sutton of Morganton and Jean Davis of Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Melissa Dellinger, Andrew Dellinger, Rebecca Dellinger, Teresa Carpenter and Crystal Briggs; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in Grindstaff Memorial Chapel of Webb Funeral Home. The Rev. Hugh Hall will officiate. The graveside service and burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Spruce Pine Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
