THORNBURG, , CHERYL ANN CAMPBELL was born on 8/15/43 in Dallas to Billie Reagan (Campbell) Royer and Jack Goodwin Campbell. Cheryl passed away very unexpectedly late Wednesday night 8/8/07, at Centinela Freeman Hospital in Marina Del Ray, CA. On Tuesday, 8/14/07 a Memorial Service was held at The Little Chapel of the Dawn in Santa Monica, CA. After the service, family and friends gathered at a private beach club in Malibu, CA. She is survived by her precious and accomplished daughter, Anna Rienhardt of Venice, CA. Cheryl's siblings are Jeannie Campbell Slusher of Greenbrae, CA., Roy Lee Taylor of Las Vegas, NV., Celia Campbell Bates and Caren Campbell Courtney of Tyler, TX., and Kathy Royer Hale of Dallas, TX. First cousins Betsy Harmon Beckwith of Garland, TX., Dan F. DuPre of McKinney, TX., Pam Burnett Garfield of Dallas, TX. and Gary Burnett of Plano, TX. Cheryl had a great love and appreciation for family, music, dancing, and the beautiful outdoors. She was vivacious, active, and young beyond her years right up until her last breath. Her life was lived to the fullest each day. Her warmth and incredible ability to make everyone feel like family will be always appreciated and remembered. The outpouring of grief and kind words from so many in so many places, near and far, is a true testament of her spirit and her life. If a person is judged by the number of people who loved her and who are deeply saddened from this loss, Cheryl was rich indeed. Cherished friends from her Dallas school days at Bonham, Spence and North Dallas High School also mourn her passing. Cheryl will forever be in our hearts and memories. OB6 Obituaries, Notices
