Clara Mae Fadler, 78, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at Fountainbleau Lodge.
She was born Nov. 16, 1928, at Patton, Mo., daughter of Pola Benson and Mary Cook Welker. She and Don Fadler were married March 15, 1947, at Patton Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Fadler had worked as an assistant to Dr. Robert Warner. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Kevin (Nancy) Fadler of Pocahontas; a daughter, Donna (Randy) Haman of Kennett, Mo.; a brother, Coy Welker of Wright City, Mo.; a sister, Grace Sharrock of Jackson; four grandchildren, Sherry and Lucas Haman of Nashville, Tenn., Trisha Lynch of Pocahontas, and Sarah Beth (Larry) Henderson of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, George, Julius, Carl and Loy; and a sister, Leona Lukefahr.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 10 a.m. to service time Thursday.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Dr. Paul Kabo officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 9374 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, Mo., 63132, or to First Presbyterian Church in Cape Girardeau.
