Lynn of Fairway Drive, in Augusta passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2010. The family will receive friends (today) Tuesday, January 12, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta. The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Committal services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, Georgia. Mrs. Lynn is survived by her husband, Charles A. Lynn; her children, Vicki Martin MD, Roger Martin, Janet Roberts, Jerry Lynn, Janet Hutcheson, and Charlene Durrence; her sisters, Martha Price and Paula Wellington; eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Lynn lived in Augusta for the past thirty-nine years. Prior to her retirement, she was a bookkeeper at Evergreen Foods and Adams Hose and Hydraulics. She was a Baptist, enjoyed music, playing the piano, but her greatest joy was her beloved children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
