BOHANAN, REV. HOMER H. age 75 of Lenoir City, passed away Sunday afternoon, June 21, 2009 at his home. Homer was a Baptist minister and a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Kingston. He was a retired saw mill operator and a former employee of the Y-12 Plant in Oak Ridge. Preceded in death by his parents, Hobert and Mary Bohanan; son, Richard Bohanan; brothers, Everett and Claude Bohanan; and sister, Margaret Harbin. Homer is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary O. Bohanan; daughter, Katheryn Johnson (husband, Gene Johnson, and son, Dustin Johnson); son, Tommy Bohanan (wife, Sonya Bohanan ); daughter, Loretta Cameron (husband, Earl Cameron, and daughter, Tia Cameron); granddaughters, Amy and Kim; sister, Ruby Estep; brothers, Troy and Junior Bohanan; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. The body will lie in state from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Liberty Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. Rev. Randy Griffis will be officiating.
