Jeff Cline, age 34, of Newport, passed away suddenly from a massive heart attack Sunday, January 22, 2017.
Jeff was a very special young man, who even at an early age, attracted people to him, His infectious smile, bright blue eyes, and open display of affection made him irresistible to love. He loved everyone.
He spent much of his childhood growing up with his special cousin, Rebecca Gregg Mason. They shared birthday celebrations, trips to Gatlinburg, attended church and watched out for each other. Their special bond remains today.
Jeff’s grandparents played an important role in his life. They nurtured, encouraged and supported him to become a loving, thoughtful, caring and unselfish young man. They encouraged him in times of despair to seek God’s guidance in his life. Jeff was always willing to lend a helping hand, and expressed empathy and caring for others. Jeff was an easy person to love and had a special kindness about him.
Jeff was a true U.T. fan and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan. He loved to attend Nascar races and encourage those around him to support Dale, Jr., no matter what. He was thrilled to be in attendance at the “Battle of Bristol”. He loved music, playing the guitar and fishing.
