Vickie Diana Showman, age 43, of Newport, died Wednesday, February 28, 2001.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harrison and Mary Elma Lewis Dunn, Herbert and Eunice Owens Woodson; father, Charles Woodson; mother, Emma Jean Woodson; and brothers, Larry Steve Woodson and Joseph Duane Woodson.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Wayne Showman, of Newport; children, Tammy Showman, of Decatur, GA, Jessica Holt Wise, of Newport, Jennifer Holt Smith, of Parrottsville, Lindsey Jean showman, of Newport; foster daughters, Treva Britt and Shelia Gentry, both of Newport; brothers, Michael Charles Woodson, of Cleveland, Ohio, Jeffery Harrison Woodson, of Decatur, CAL; sister, Cathy Woodson Oda, of Cheraw, SC; grandchildren, Justine Grace Wise, Jacob Elijah Wise, both of Newport, Tiffany LeShea Hall, Austin Blake Smith, and Hannah Joann Smith, all of Parrottsville; also many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tiger Gullett, Rev. Kenny Lloyd, and Rev. Wayne Boswell officiating, with burial 2 p.m. Monday in Providence Cemetery in Limestone, TN.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Manes Funeral Home.
Manes Funeral Home is in charge.
