  [S142] Newspaper Article, The Banner (Knightstown, IN), 3 Jan 2007. Feb. 17, 1939 – Dec. 30, 2006 Shirley Marlene Pate Forshey, 67, of Greenfield died December 30 in Knoxville, Tenn. She was born Feb. 17, 1939, in Knoxville. Mrs. Forshey was a homemaker. She was known as a wonderful mother and was well-respected by her friends. Survivors include her husband, Donald “Sarge” Barlow; eight sons, William, Leo, Roy, Michael, Kenneth, Daniel and David Campbell and John Forshey; two daughters, Violet Winters and Marcella Walker; a sister, Carol Kinsey; a brother, Roy Pate; 34 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3 at G.H. Herrmann S. East Street Funeral Home in Indianapolis. Burial will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery. Visitation was January 2.
