Royce Marie Tweedle McLemore, 71, of Rosedale, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at First Baptist Church in Rosedale with Rev. Alan Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Beulah Cemetery.
Mrs. McLemore was born in Cleveland on December 24, 1942, to R.W. Tweedle and Dorothy Marie Kincade Tweedle. She married James William McLemore in Beulah in 1963. She worked for 40 plus years as a machine operator at Ampco, and was a proud member of First Baptist Church in Rosedale.
She is preceded in death by her parents, R.W. and Dorothy Tweedle; husband, James William McLemore; and son, Roy McLemore.
Mrs. McLemore is survived by her sons, Allison McLemore (Amy) of Cleveland and Dewayne Tweedle (Vera) of Gatlinburg, TN; grandchildren, Wade McLemore (Nikki) of Cleveland, Austin McLemore of Cleveland, and Michelle Tweedle McCarter of Gatlinburg, TN; Great-grandchildren, McKenzie McCarter and Chloe Payne both of Gatlinburg, TN; sisters, Polly Marquis of Rosedale and Dot Thompson of Fredericksburg, VA; and special nieces and nephews, Randy Marquis, Nicole Marquis, Tammy Marquis, Will Marquis, Claire Marquis, Noah Marquis, Finley Marquis, Skylar Williams, Grayson Williams, and Bella Marquis.
Pallbearers will be Chris Johnson, George Williams, Will Marquis, Randy Marquis, John Tweedle, and Lynn Farmer. Honorary pallbearers will be J.M. Tweedle, George Mac Tweedle, Ray Travis, George Scott, Tee Travis, H.M. Chenault, Jerry Campbell, Albert Vickers, Mike Hudson and Gordon Lott.
