Gwindel Gillette Hardin, age 66, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2014.
She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, retired from Sevier County School system
after 29 years of service. Her favorite thing outside of family was baking cakes for anybody that wanted one.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, John T. and Christine E. Gillette, brother, Ronnie E. Gillette.
Survivors: Husband: Richard Hardin; Stepson: Richard Hardin. Jr. and wife Angela; Step-grandson; Jacob Dakota Hardin; Brothers and sister-in-law: Ricky Gillette and wife Glenda, Reggie Gillette; Sisters and brother-in-law: Cheryl Simmons, Kathy Depriest and husband Raymond; Six nieces and nephews and four great nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 7 PM Friday in Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. Glenn Metts and Rev. Kenneth Stansberry officiating. Interment 10 AM Saturday in Chilhowee Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4-7 PM Friday at Atchley Funeral Home, Seymour 122 Peacock Court, Seymour, TN 37865. (577-2807).
