Elizabeth “Epenesa” Garrett, age 65 of Sevierville, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018. She was born in American Samoa on June 9, 1952. She loved to travel and was an avid bowler and a strong supporter of Sevierville Little League Football, where most of the kids called her “Nana”. She loved riding motorcycles and was a member of the East Tennessee Harley Owner’s Group-Knoxville. She loved her family dearly, and her grandchildren were her whole world. She was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed.
Survivors:
Husband of 43 years: Dan Garrett;
Daughter: Christal Franklin and husband Jesse;
Son: Thomas Garrett and wife Eugenia;
Grandchildren: Tyson and Colton Franklin, Cale and Avery Garrett;
Siblings: Ati Tolu, Eseta Tuiasosopo, Faye Fuata, Vasati Mapo, and Feleti Uiato;
Several cousins, nieces and nephews, and special friends.
Her passion was Sevierville Little League football. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Sevierville Little League Football Association Fund at Citizens National Bank located at 810 Dolly Parton Parkway, Sevierville, TN 37862.
The family will receive friends 1-3 PM Sunday with funeral service following at 3 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Preston Joslin and Rev. Steve Brewer officiating.
