ENOREE -- Charles Edward Ball, 73, of 1300 Parker Road died June 3, 1999, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
A native of Enoree, he was son of the late Frank Ball and Pansy Thomas Ball. He retired as a fixer in the spinning room at Inman Mills Riverdale Plant in Enoree. He was a member of Enoree Church of God.
Surviving are his wife, Gladys Fleming Ball; a daughter, Sandra B. Tucker of Enoree; a brother, Herman Ball of Laurens; two sisters, Thelma Huey of Enoree and Edith Clevenger of Spartanburg; and a grandson.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Lanford Funeral Home in Woodruff.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, conducted by the Revs. Harrison Steege and Boyce E. Harrison. Burial will be in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m.
The family is at the home.
