He was a member of Dutch Bottoms Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Nettie Lovell; daughter, Linda Lovell; brothers, Eddie and H N; sisters, Martha Vivian, Dolly, Lorene, Mary Ella and also an infant sister. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Emma Jean Lovell of Newport,children Ronnie (Ethel), Ricky (Cheryl) , Gary (Sallie), all of Newport; sisters, Arzetta England of Powell and Dorothy (Ray) Headrick of Ohio; grandchildren, Jason (Kelley) of Englewood, TN, T. J. (Chelsea) Linda, Ricky, Caitlyn, Allison and Alyssa Lovell all of Newport; great grandchildren, Nathan and Ella Lovell of Newport. Funeral services will be held 8:00 pm Thursday, July 8, 2010 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Wiley officiating. Burial will be held 11:00 am, Friday, July 9, 2010 in Dutch Bottoms Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Thursday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral.
