U.S. Veteran Sgt. Bradley Scott Carter, age 25, of White Pine, passed away January 9, 2017. He was actively serving in the United States Army at Fort Lewis, Washington State. He is survived by his parents, Scott and Kathy Carter; grandparents, Bruce and Teresa (Pop and Nannie) Coker; brothers, Benjamin Carter (Jackie), Landon Goff (Katie); sister, Ashley Sane (Michael); nieces, Micah Holland, Lilianna Sane and Isabella Sane; nephews, Hayden Goff, Hunter Goff and Baby Boy Carter; special friends, Jordon Cashen and Spencer Shelton. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Wednesday, January 18, 2017 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held 11:00 am Thursday January 19, 2017 in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, with Military Honors. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Wednesday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral service.
