FRANKLIN, WILMA JEAN - age 70, of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2004 at Ft. Sanders Parkwest Medical Center. She was an active member of Gallaher Memorial Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: her parents son, Toby Dean Franklin and daughter, Sheryl Lynn Franklin. Survived by: husband of 51 years, Earl Franklin daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Kevin Barnes of Knoxville and son and daughter-in-law, David and Kathy Franklin, also of Knoxville and three grandchildren, Jonathan, Jennifer and Zachary. Funeral service 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2004 in Highland Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ron Bright and Rev. Blake Greer officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at Highland Memorial Park for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. Pallbearers will be: Kevin Barnes, Jack Greer, Gene Rader, Todd Spoon, John Spoon, and Tommy Brooks. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. prior to the service Tuesday night at Highland Memorial Park, Funerals and Cremations, 5315 Kingston Pike 588-0567.
