Patrick D. Lawson, age 61, passed away suddenly on February 6, 2017, at his home. He was a retired Sergeant from the Knox County Sheriff's Gold Eagles Motorcycle Unit. Patrick was a most beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia DeWine Hurlocker. Patrick is survived by his wife and best friend of 18 years, Becky; step-son, Brady Baggett; grandson, Brody; daughter, Melissa Lawson; father, Jack Lawson; sister, Julia Wick and husband, Mike; brothers, Phil Lawson and wife, Kay, and Dennis Lawson; 2 nephews; and many valuable, lifelong friends. A service to Celebrate Patrick's life will be at 2pm on Friday, February 10, at Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Pleasant Forest Cemetery escorted by members of the Knox County Sheriff's Office. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to FOP Volunteer Lodge #2 'Shop with a Cop Program' 720 Hall of Fame Dr, Knoxville, TN 37917.
