He was a native of Cleveland and had lived in Rossville for the past several years. He was retired from Ernest Holmes Co. after several years of service. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Hobert Stinnett. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Doug and Teresa Stinnett of Ringgold, Ga.; mother, Vada Stinnett of Rossville; two granddaughters: Ashlae Stinnett and Brooke Stinnett, both of Ringgold; brother and sister-in-law: David and Susan Stinnett of Vero Beach, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service was held Tuesday at Lakewood Memorial Gardens-South with the Rev. David Clay officiating. Heritage Funeral Home on Battlefield Parkway was in charge of arrangements.
