Bonnie Hicks Sherlin, age 91, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, December 16, 2005 in a local hospital. She had been a member of Macedonia Baptist Church since the age of thirteen. She was the daughter of the late M. C. "Mack" and Lana Ogle Stinnett and was also preceded in death by her husbands: Lawrence Hicks and Robert Sherlin. Her beloved son, Mack "Gene" Hicks, also preceded her in death as well as her sisters and brothers: Celya Stinnett, Stella Gladson, Myrtle McCamish, Eula Stinnett, Frank Stinnett, Hobert Stinnett and Joe Stinnett. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sue Hicks of Cleveland; granddaughter, Brittany Hicks of Cleveland; step-children and spouses: Roy and Alice Sherlin of Cleveland, Jay and Lois Sherlin of Cleveland, Bob and Joyce Sherlin of Cleveland, Mervin and Betty Sherlin of Florida, Jim and Linda Sherlin of Nashville, D. A. and Jo Sherlin of Cleveland, and Dorothy "Dot" Frazier of Cleveland; sixteen step-grandchildren, fifteen step great-grandchildren, and seventeen step great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
