(June 26, 1933 - July 1, 2012) U.S. Veteran Bill (Papaw) McNealy, age 79, of Parrottsville, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012 at his home. He was a veteran having served in the U S Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arless and Flora McNealy; brother, Ernest McNealy; and sister, Glenna Sutherland. He is survived by his wife, Helen McNealy of Parrottsville; son, Billy McNealy of Parrottsville; daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and David Styles, of Newport; Judith Lynn and Jackie Kelley of Newport; brothers, Kenneth McNealy of DeQueen, Arkansas; Arless McNealy, Jr., (Glenda) of Sweetwater, TN; sister, Charlene Pound (John) of Parrottsville; sister-in-law, Billie McNealy; brother-in-law, Gene Sutherland both of Parrottsville; grandchildren, Heather Davis (Brent) of Cookeville, Jacob Burgin of Knoxville; special friend, Alicea Willis; several nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Wednesday, July 4, 2012 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tom Mooty officiating. Burial will be held at 10:00 am, July 5, 2012 in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Wednesday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral service.
