  [S142] Newspaper Article, 3 Oct 2003. Mrs. Louvina Shelton, age 84, died Friday, October 3, 2003 at Mountain Ridge Wellness Center. She was born April 19, 1919 in Madison County to the late Gaither Shelton and Nellie Crowe Shelton. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Calvary Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Shelton is survived by her husband, Albert L. Shelton of the home; five sons, Everett Shelton and wife Alma of Lenoir, Leonard Shelton and wife Linda, of Granite Falls, Clifford Shelton and wife Barbara, of Asheville, Junior Shelton and wife Juanita, of Marion, J.C. Shelton and wife Amanda, of Marion; two daughters, Ruby Foster and husband Raymond, of Marion, Ruth Vance and husband Willis, of Marion; sister, Alice Barker, of Valdese; nineteen grandchildren and twenty seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 5, at 2:30 PM at Mt. Calvary Free Will Baptist Church with the Revs. W.L. Kell and Rick Woods officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Grandsons Danny Shelton, Ricky Shelton, Mike Foster, Douglas Shelton, Scott Vance, Randy Shelton, Ryan Shelton and Tommy Shelton will be pallbearers. Interment will be in Mt.
