  [S142] Newspaper Article, 4 Oct 2011. July 10, 1934 - October 4, 2011 Yelena Khomyak, 77, of Wheaton passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. She was born in the Ukraine the daughter of Peter and Maria Prokopchuk. She is married to Fedor Khomyak. Yelena was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her loving family. She was a member of the Ukraine Baptist Church in Berwyn, IL. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends who loved her very much. She is survived by her husband Fedor, six children Luba (Michael) Zubach, Peter (Olga) Khomyak, Nick (Anna) Khomyak, Lyudmila (Stepan) Vasylykha, Valentina (Leonid) Yashchuk, Alex (Nadia) Khomyak; sixteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and two sisters in the Ukraine. Funeral services will be held 11:30 A.M. Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Moss-Norris Funeral Home 100 South Third Street St. Charles, IL 60174. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in River Hills Memorial Park 1650 South River Street Batavia, IL. [S1] U. S.
