Minnie Nellene Hicks, age 74 of Sevierville, TN, formerly of Sweetwater, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009. She was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church, employed by Athens Products in Athens, TN for 21 years, and she loved crafting and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her parents James Theodore and Myrtle Chapman, brother Eugene Chapman, and sister Anice Chapman, all of Sweetwater.
Survivors include her:
Husband: Kenneth Hicks
Great-niece: Courtney Neubert, who she loved and considered her grandbaby
Sisters: Janice and James Nelson, Estella Howell and husband John
Nieces and nephews: Annette Neubert and husband Keith, Claudie Chapman, Keith Kerley and wife Tammy, Mike Nelson and wife Margie, Gary Howell, Rita Lale
Special caregivers: Donna, Rose, Lena, Jackie, Violet, and Esther
