Chatham, Marietta, Ga.; son, Gerry Sands, Marietta; stepsons, Clark Mayes, Lakeland, and Hank Meyers, Middlesboro, Ky.; mother, Hazel Maples Sands, Knoxville; father, William F. Sands, Lakeland; brother, Dale Sands, Knoxville; two grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren. Services will be at 2 this afternoon at Lakeland Funeral Home, 2125 Bartow Road.
