Dalphus Hearl Goodin, age 83, of Seymour, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011. Dalphus, known as Dolph or DH to most who knew him, was an avid outdoorsman. He is a member of the 900 Club for having hiked all of the 900 miles of trails in the Smoky Mountains. Dalphus loved to travel and explore, visiting each of the 50 states at least twice. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Cora Goodin.

Grandchildren: Robert Lynn Blankenship, Heather Rene Distleberg, Clinton Langley Goodin, Timothy Chaz Goodin, Coleton Cruz Goodin, Cassidi Makalya Goodin, and Savanna Jayne Goodin.
Great-grandchildren: Kathryn Blankenship, Alyssa Grace Blankenship, Brianna Lynn Blankenship, and Seth Robert Blankenship and Ansley Kate Distelberg.
Sisters and brothers-in-law:Doris Parton and husband Bobby Lee, Charlotte Repholz and husband Alan, Sherry Ensign and husband Bernie.
