SCHUERLE
EDWARD WILLIAM, PhD
Age 73, of Upper St. Clair, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017. Beloved husband of Joan (Vento) Schuerle; loving father of Theresa (Caleb) Orr and Kristen (John) Worgul; grandfather of Mia Orr, Clara Worgul, and Luke Worgul; brother of Catherine Mae (Richard), Diann, Dan (Jeanne), Wayne (Aurie); and many nieces and nephews. Dr. Schuerle was a teacher and administrator for the Pittsburgh Public Schools for 38 years where he had the joy of educating our youth at Schenley High School, South Vo-Tech, and Washington Polytech Academy. Dr. Schuerle grew up in the City of Pittsburgh, in Mount Oliver, and raised his family in Brentwood and for the past 24 years in Upper St. Clair. He and his family are parishioners of the St. Louise de Marillac Church. He was a passionate man who loved spending time with his family and very much his young grandchildren. After retiring, he continued to manage residential properties throughout the Pittsburgh Area. He loved spending time at his farm and restoring cars. Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS. Friends and family are welcome at 2828 Washington Rd., McMurray, 724-941-3211, on Friday 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday 10:30 a.m. in St. Louise de Marillac Church.
