Thomas Gabriel Weetman, 76, of Spotsylvania County passed away Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, at home.
Mr. Weetman was a member of Spotswood Baptist Church , where he was a Sunday school , Awana and Vacation Bible School teacher and a member of the Primetimers and Gideons International . He enjoyed bowling, cars and football.
Survivors include his wife, Lynda J. Weetman; mother Marguerite Weetman; children David Weetman, Kelly Weetman, Todd Weetman, Rebecca Dean, Steve Weetman and Jaimi Reid-Fortis; 21 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister Gabrielle Marguerite Pierera; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces; and his Jack Russell terrier, Cookie. He was preceded in death by his father, Gabriel J. Weetman; daughter Cheryl Leann Weetman; sister Rachael Weetman; and grandson Justin Tyler Drake.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday , Jan. 18, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
A service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19, at Spotswood Baptist Church . Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
