June 28, 1931 - April 27, 2017 Born in Knox, Co. Resided in Seymour, TN Joan Dance Steele, age 85 of Seymour formerly of Dandridge, passed away Thursday April 27, 2017. She was a member of the Red Hatters. Joan loved her friends and crafty time spent at Dandridge Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Scott David and Deborah Walden Dance; and husband, Jason Steele, and brother, Wally Childress. Survivors: Son: Jimmy Steele Daughter and Son-in-law: Joanna Johnson (Steve) Grandchildren: Michael, Matthew, Naomi & Dallas 7 Great Grandchildren Brother: Baron Dance The family would like to thank Sevier County Health and Rehab nurses and cna's. The family will receive 2-4 PM Saturday with funeral service to follow at 4 PM in Atchley's Seymour Chapel Rev. Steve Rose officiating. Family and Friends will meet 2 PM Sunday in Atchley Seymour Memory Gardens for graveside service and interment.
