Preceded in death by mother and father, Georgia McNish and Sam Locke ; stepfather, Horace McNish; brother, Sam Locke ; sister, Martha LaRue. He leaves his wife of 57 years, Helen Locke ; daughter, Tina Gregg; sons, Gary Locke , Mike (Beverly) Locke ; grandchildren, Brittany (Jonathon) Myers, Brooke (Clayton) Morris, Crystal Locke , Eddie Locke , Tara Locke ; great-grandchildren, Brady Morris, Tyler, Alex & Hannah Locke , Chase Locke ; sisters, Betty Bradley, Eleanor Beard. Pete was an avid Vols fan. He coached (his true passion) for many years, football, basketball, & baseball, winning many championships along the way. He was a Veteran, having served in Korea with the United States Army. The family will receive friends at the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel Wednesday, from 6pm, until the 8pm service. Family and friends will meet at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Lyons View Pike, 11:15am Thursday, for an 11:30 interment service.
