He was preceded in death by sons, David Knight, Ray Knight, Kenneth Knight, Howard Knight daughter, Mary Sizemore, and father and mother, Britton and Lola Knight. Survivors include wife, Vennie of Rockford son, Jackie and wife, Sheila Knight of Cummings, Ga. daughter, Vanessa and husband, Larry Akins of Georgia step children, Eddie Reagan and Bruce Reagan of Walland, David Reagan of Maryville, Ruth Tipton of Rockford, Elizabeth and husband, David Whaley of Seymour, Mavie Stephens of Georgia, Shirley Jenkins of Baltimore, Md. brothers and wives, Jesse and Janis Knight of Knoxville, John and Wanda Knight of Lawrenceville, Ga., Arlie and Sue Knight of Maryville, Leroy and Caroline Knight of Homer, Ga. sisters, Thelma Gibbs of Louisville, Ruth Roulette of Friendsville, Johnnie and husband, Terry Wilburn of Maryville, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2002, in the Dotson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clarence Evans officiating.
