  [S142] Newspaper Article, The Jonesboro Sun (AR), 5 Dec 2003. Louise Ellen Guthrie, 78, of Smithville died Wednesday, Dec. 3, at St. Bernard's Medical Center. Born in Smithville, she was a homemaker and an active member of Smithville Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Alvin Guthrie of the home; two sons, James Guthrie of Arkadelphia and Joe Guthrie of Dexter, Mo.; two daughters, Ellujean Thacker of Smithville and Levenia Huskey of Strawberry; one sister, Imogene Davis of Black Rock; one brother, Jearl Dailey of Blytheville; nine grandchildren, Darian Thacker, Donnie Thacker, Jennifer Guthrie, Jessica Guthrie, Leah Guthrie, Derrick Huskey , Mica Guthrie, Mandy Crowe and Willie Joe Huskey ; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Smithville Baptist Church, with Keith Marlin and Keith Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Smithville Cemetery under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home of Hoxie. Active pallbearers will be Charles Morgan, Mark Erwin, Mike Emison, Rickey Goff, John Lillard, Clint Burrow and Cass Burrow. Honorary pallbearers will include Ben Foley, Larry Burrow, Danney Foley, Darian Thacker, Donnie Thacker, Derrick Huskey and Willie Joe Huskey.
