Mrs. Dorothy Mae Huskey, 86, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, passed away on December 28, 2015. She was born in Tuckerman, on June 11, 1929, the daughter of Albert and Cordia Smith. She died faithfully as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was a homemaker. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Huskey. A brother, Ernest Smith, also preceded her in death, as well as three sisters, Lucille Smith, Frances Boeing, and Ann Brown. Survivors include her brother, Arthur Smith and her sister, Jean Bowen. She also had a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Friends may visit at the funeral home Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home. Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Gracelawn Cemetery in Tuckerman, with Stephen Barner officiating. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Boyce Huskey, Tony Tidwell, William Blomenkamp, Gene Brown, Brian Smith, and Tyler Bowen.
