Alice Oline Tidwell , age 90, of Jonesboro died Friday, May 11, 2012, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.
She was born in Lawrence County to William Wesley and Jossie Waggner Huskey on March 20, 1922. She was retired from General Electric Corp. and was of the Church of Christ belief. Mrs. Tidwell was an avid fisherman, rock hound and loved to bowl.
Mrs. Tidwell was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William "Bud" Tidwell ; and two brothers.
She is survived by a son, Tony (Kathy) Tidwell of Jonesboro; a granddaughter, Mika Pellham; four great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Alice, Hayley and Hannah; and a nephew, Boyce (Jeanne) Huskey.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Roller-Farmers Union chapel, 1900 W. Washington Ave., with the Rev. Patty Soward officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers are Steven Pellham, Chuck Bergman, Bob Walker, James Walker and David Smith.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
