Alice Louise (Gosha) Smithee , 65, of Hoxie passed away Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, in Lawrence Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born June 2, 1941, in Old Walnut Ridge, daughter of Boyd and Cecil Cole Gosha, she was a homemaker and of the Protestant belief.
Mrs. Smithee was united in marriage to Cloyce Smithee on Nov. 28, 1964. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Charles Gosha; and a sister, Ruby Smith.
Survivors include her husband, Cloyce Smithee of the home; a son, Brad and wife Bonnie Smithee of Paragould; three grandchildren, Seth, Hannah and Abby, all of Paragould; two sisters, Patsy Mosier of Paragould and Barbara Wallis of Blue Eye, Mo.; a brother, Dean Gosha of Rockford, Ill.; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007, at 10 a.m. in the Bryan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Wineberry officiating. Pallbearers will be Dane Wallis, Scott Mosier, Larry Light, Mike Cook, Glenn Kennedy and Kelly Rogers.
Interment will be in Lawrence Memorial Park under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home of Hoxie.
Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m.
