Gilbert was a homemaker, and a member of the Church of Christ. She was a Charter member of the South Tuckerman EHC. Mrs . Gilbert was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Jeff Leroy Brand ; two sisters, Rubie Neil Adams and Velma Hartwick. She is survived by her husband, Fred Gilbert of Tuckerman; one son, Morgan Gilbert of Tuckerman; one daughter, Jeanette Dickinson and husband, Gerald, of Paragould; one brother, John Brand and wife, Etta, of Newport; two sisters, Lamelda Fortenberry of Tuckerman, and Thelma Smithee of Hoxie; two grandchildren, LeAnn Dickinson of Palm Bay, Fla., and Bart Dickinson of Little Rock; and two great-grandchildren, Blake and Parker Dickinson of Little Rock. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Jackson's Newport Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Terry Sanders officiating. Interment will be in Gracelawn Cemetery.
