Christopher " Roy " Huskey , 88, of Rogers, Ark., died Saturday, May 27, 2006, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. He was born June 6, 1917, in Saffell, Ark., to Christopher Columbus Huskey and Ora Ann Huskey. He retired from a long career as the owner of Huskey 's Painting. Following his retirement, he enjoyed building birdhouses, gardening and spending time with his family. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church for more than 38 years. He enjoyed being "grandpa" to more than 200 children at Alpha Child Care. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Margie Huskey ; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Elwanda Edens and Gerald Edens, Pamela Fisher and George Fisher, and Karen Huskey , all of Rogers; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Randy Huskey and Debbie Huskey of Rogers, and Jim Huskey of Springfield, Mo.; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, at Callison – Lough Funeral Home in Rogers, Ark. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, at the First Assembly of God Church in Rogers with Pastor Ellis Doyle and Pastor Clyde Brummett. Burial will be at Rogers Cemetery.
