Blanche Heavrin , 90, of Meridian, passed away on February 5, 2015 at her home. Blanche was born on April 18, 1924 in Weiser, Idaho to Charley and Fanny Huskey . They moved to Cascade, Idaho where she attended school until her marriage to Glen Heavrin on October 4, 1941. She went to cosmetology school in 1953. They lived in various communities in Idaho and Baker, Oregon. They both retired and moved to Meridian, Idaho to be near their three children; Candy Hudson, Chuck (Maryann) Heavrin and Cheri (Doug) Youngblood and their seven grandchildren. Glen passed away in 2006 and Blanche continued live in Meridian until her health began to fail. She then moved in with her granddaughter Kari and her husband Kent Wilson. Blanche had a wonderful sense of humor. One of her greatest joys was her yard and flower arrangements, but first was her family. Blanche was preceded in death by her husband Glen Heavrin , eight brothers and sisters, and her son-in-law, Harold Hudson. She is survived by her three children, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and one sister, Wilma Davis of Las Vegas, NV. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 Horseshoe Bend Road, Boise. Services are under the direction of Accent Funeral Home, Meridian. Remembrances may be left for the family online at www.AccentFuneral.com
