W . C . Huskey , 92, of Caldwell, died Friday Feb. 9, 2007 at his home. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday Feb. 13 at 2 p.m. at the Star Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Accent Funeral Home, Meridian. W . C . was born to Charlie and Fanny Huskey on Jan. 12, 1915 in Blue Eye , Missouri. He moved to Kuna, Idaho at a young age with his family. At age 12 they moved to Valley County where he began working in the logging industry. On June 12, 1935 he married his sweetheart Esther, and they remained married for over 70 years. Together they ranched throughout the Treasure Valley until he retired to Caldwell in the early '80s. Survivors include his wife Esther, grandsons, Hoss, Don, Wade, and Ed, great-grandchildren, Wint, Shelby, Justin, Tyus, Hailey and Delphia, brother, Amos, two sisters, Velma and Blanche and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, two sisters and a son, Wes.
